Our CMM team measures module (from OD and tooth count), bore diameter, keyway dimensions, face width, and worm axial pitch — returning a confirmed dimensional drawing within 3–5 working days for your approval before production begins. Reverse engineering from physical samples is a standard service with no additional charge on orders above minimum quantity.

We do not set a rigid minimum for standard module sizes (M1–M8 in common materials). Small qualification orders of 5–20 sets are accepted for incoming inspection and machine validation. The per-piece price on small sample quantities is higher than on production batches — the difference is credited in full against the first production order. For non-standard modules requiring dedicated tooling, a minimum quantity corresponding to reasonable tooling amortization is discussed at quotation — typically 50–200 pieces for the first order, with no minimum on reorders.

Yes. Self-locking depends on the worm lead angle being smaller than the effective friction angle — which changes with lubricant viscosity and therefore operating temperature. A drive that self-locks at 20°C with mineral oil may not self-lock at 75°C with synthetic oil. For safety-critical applications (hoists, solar trackers, medical positioning), we calculate and document the self-locking margin at your specified lubricant and temperature extremes. Specify your site temperature range, lubricant specification, and maximum expected back-drive torque when submitting your inquiry.

Standard: packing list and commercial invoice. On request at order placement: material certificate (chemical composition and mechanical properties to mill heat number), heat treatment record, CMM dimensional inspection report, and contact pattern photograph. For medical device programs: ISO 10993-1 material grouping, electropolish surface report, and PPAP Level 1–3 documentation. For defense programs: MIL-standard material traceability, FAI (First Article Inspection) reports, and AQAP-2110 compatible quality documentation — confirm requirements before order placement.

Yes, in most cases. Send the original part number, dimensional drawing, or worn component. For KHK and Boston Gear standard catalog products, the part number typically encodes module and tooth count directly, allowing us to confirm compatibility without a physical sample. We confirm module, tooth count, bore diameter, face width, OD, center distance, and thread direction before quoting. Brand names are used for dimensional identification only — Korea Ever-Power is not affiliated with any of these manufacturers. Compatibility confirmation: 24–48 hours on working days.

Specify ISO VG 220–460 mineral gear oil or synthetic PAO gear oil — both confirmed free of sulfur- or chlorine-based Extreme Pressure (EP) additives. These EP additives are standard in most industrial gear oils but chemically react with the copper content of the bronze alloy, corroding the tooth surface from within and accelerating wear. Look for labels that state "bronze compatible," "suitable for yellow metals," or "worm gear oil." For housing temperatures above 70°C (outdoor summer operation), specify synthetic PAO base oil. We confirm the lubricant specification with every worm gear quotation at no additional charge.

All products pass our outgoing QC inspection before dispatch. In the event that a non-conformance is found at your incoming inspection: contact us within 7 working days of receipt with photographs and the specific measurement data that fails your criteria. We respond within 24 hours on working days. Confirmed manufacturing defects are corrected by rework or full replacement at our cost, including outbound freight on the replacement shipment. We do not dispute measurement data from calibrated instruments. We do not require goods to be returned before issuing a replacement in confirmed defect cases.

Payment before shipment is required. Accepted methods: T/T (bank wire transfer) and L/C (letter of credit) for large orders. Standard terms: 30–50% deposit on order confirmation, 50–70% balance before shipment against draft Bill of Lading. Available incoterms: EXW (Ex Works Ansan-si), FOB (Incheon Port), CIF (to destination port), and DDP for select destinations. Currency: USD, EUR, or KRW accepted. For established customers with purchase history (minimum 3 completed orders), extended payment terms may be discussed.
